TONY METOYER

Background:

  • 1980 - 1982 Angelina Junior College 3rd baseman.
  • 1983 - 1984 Texas A&M University 3rd baseman.

Experience:

  • Played from 1984 - 1988 in Houston Astros Organization.
  • Played as 3rd baseman - In 1986 converted to Pitcher.
  • Played from 1989 - 1990 in Florida Independent League.
  • Played from 1990 - 1996 in Taiwan League.
  • Played from 1997 - 1999 in Mexico AAA Alliance League.

Currently:

Instructor at Baseball USA "The Yard" for 6 years.

Hitting, Fielding, Pitching

 

RANDY BROWN

Background:

  • Born in Dallas and raised in Houston.
  • Attended Elsik High School.
  • Attended San Jacinto Jr. College.
  • Two time all-Conference and member of 2 National Championship Teams.
  • JUCO World Series MVP, voted Best Defensive Player and All Tourney Team

Experience:

  • Played from 1990 - 1997 with the Boston Red Sox organization A - AAA
  • Played in 1998 with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization AA - AAA
  • Played in 1999 with the Seattle Mariners organization AA - AAA
  • Played in 2000 with an Independent Team
  • Coached at Houston Christian High School 2002

Currently:

Instructor at Baseball USA "The Yard" for 8 years
